Best High-Paying Freelance Gigs of the Week: September 23, 2019
Autumn is here and it’s my favorite time of year. Let’s fall into this weeks gigs! These are all freelance writing opportunities. I make sure they pay at least $50 a piece, offer a full-time salary, or pay more than $20 an hour. They are also all remote jobs (also known as virtual jobs or work-from-home jobs). This means you can do the work from anywhere you want.
For more gig goodness, here are 30+ sites that pay writers for articles and 20 high paying magazines looking for pitches.
Note: I don’t know anything about these positions other than what I post. I weed out the seedy looking ones, but it is your job to be diligent when applying. Also, please don’t message me with questions about the postings. If a link doesn’t work the posting has probably been taken down because the gig has been filled. If you have a gig for freelance writers that pays at least $50 a peice or over $20 an hour, please contact me and I will include your gig in next week’s post.

Looking for a full-time writer who is an amazing writer and editor!
Pay: Full-time
More information:
We are looking for someone who is crazy talented, detailed, research-oriented and fun to join our Content Team.
What does the offering look like?
We help our clients to generate positive online reviews and respond to this online chatter on sites such as Google, Yelp, and Facebook. Each review is customized to the reviewer, so nothing is canned. We like to think of them as a “modern” notecard. Every morning your time would be spent responding to reviews. We need someone who is clever with words, as some of the review responses require a genius response. Here is a good example (search for the review/response written by Modki: https://www.google.com/search?q=mosquito+joe+of+northwest+florida&oq=mosquito+joe+of+northwest+florida&aqs=chrome..69i57.9501j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#lrd=0x88916823f9a43e95:0x14e36b7160cf5038,1,,,
Are you good at blog writing and/or editing? The afternoons are spent writing blog articles, researching, crafting proposals, and any other writing/editing needs that we have. There is a lot of diversity to the work. We are looking for someone who can research the heck out of a topic and write blogs that are as good as this- https://moz.com/blog/how-to-optimize-your-google-my-business-listing
We need someone who is technology savvy (really important), who is positive (we have an amazing team and don’t want to disrupt this with any naysayers), someone who loves customer service (we help clients respond to negative online reviews, which can be sensitive for them), has an attitude of learning, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. It will take someone that has excellent communication skills (including writing and grammar) and someone who has a lot of compassion; owning a business is hard and business owners need someone who can show them understanding and heart. It will take someone who is super creative in their writing.
The job is rewarding as we have a talented team and amazing clients.
We are looking for someone who is exceptional, regardless of experience. We offer flexible time, but we need someone who is available full-time during normal working hours.
We offer the following:
*28 days of paid vacation
*Unlimited sick days & bereavement
*Monthly perks (Zestful credit card where bonuses can be applied to gym memberships, meal subscriptions, travel, etc.)
*Paid internet & portion of cellular phone
*Life coach
*Monthly massage (because why not?)
*Money towards health insurance
We are looking for the right personality to join our team versus a specified list of skills. If this sounds like you, drop us an email. Please know that we read each and every email Want to stand out? Be creative and submit examples of your work! If you submit a resume with nothing else, you will automatically be rejected (this is a writing position, after all!).
Thanks for checking us out!
