A Sneaky Way to Find Jobs On LinkedIn

A Sneaky Way to Find Jobs On LinkedIn

You probably already know how to use the jobs tab on LinkedIn, but there is another, sneakier way to find jobs that many people will never see. Many company post job openings in their post, instead of on the job boards. Finding these types of posts is easy.

  1. Go to the home page.

  2. In the search bar type "looking for writer" or "looking for blogger." You can get more specific, if you like. For example, you could type "looking for fashion bloggers" or "looking for medical writers." Whatever your niche is, try a search including it for better results.

  3. Look for the menu on the top left side of the page.

  4. Click on Content.

  5. Click on the menu on the right side of the page called Relevance.

  6. Click Latest.

All of the recent posts including the phrase will pop up. Bingo! Job gold! There may be a few results that don't work for you, but there will be at least a couple that will. Searching this way gives you less competition than on the job boards, too.
