Magpie Has Been Bought by IZEA

Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedin For those of you that have been following my adventures in paid tweeting (Tweet for Moneyand Update on Tweeting for Money) you may be interested to know that Magpie has been purchased by IZEA. IZEA own several blogging- and tweeting-for-money sites, most notably, SponsoredTweets.  What do you do if you have a Magpie account? According to the email I received today, you will be able to access your Magpie account using the same log-in information at the SponsoredTweets site.  Since this switch-over I can’t even log into my SponsoredTweet account, but I can log onto my Magpie account just fine. Let me know if anyone else is having trouble. Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedin

    Update on Tweeting for Money

Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedinIn this post about tweeting for money I talked about three sites that offer you paid opportunities to tweet. Here are some updates on how I’m doing. The first one I joined is called Sponsored Tweets. I have made payout ($50) twice now and a little bit more. The process takes me about two or three minutes each time, so it kinda feels like I’m making free money.  The second tweeting for money site I joined was Magpie. I think I ended up making 11 cents. I couldn’t figure out why my account never showed the amount it should have so I deleted my account with Magpie. The third…

    Update on MyLikes Review

Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedinA while back I wrote about the tweet for money site MyLikes. I thought I’d update on how I’m doing with the site. Well, imagine my surprise when I receive a PayPal payment out of the blue from MyLikes. I had only tweeted two ads and thought that I’d see how many pennies they made. Those two tweets added up to more than $2. What shocked me even more is that there isn’t a payout threshold like with Sponsored Tweets.  Needless to say, I’ve tweeted several more paid tweets since then. I’ll keep you updated. Here is a link to my other post about tweeting for money sites. If you would like to give…

    Tweet for Money

Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedinI know there are professionals who tweet for money, but I just dabble using various services. If you would like to try using your Twitter account for money, I’ll tell you my experience. My favorite service is called Sponsored Tweets. I recently made payout ($50) and the process is really simple. They send you emails when there are ads that match the type of things you like to tweet about and you write a tweet for the company. I love how simple it is and they have a lot of opportunities. You can either get paid for every tweet you write or you can get paid per click. I’ve…
