Publishing Articles on the New Suite 101

Some of my fellow Suite 101 writers are confused about the new publishing process, so I agreed to write a post on it, complete with pictures. Here’s what the publishing dashboard looks like: Like with WordPress or other blogging platforms, you type in your title, an intro and your article body into the spaces given. You add images by pressing the little button that looks like mountains. This is a big upgrade from the old photo system, which wouldn’t let you put the photos anywhere but at the top and bottom of the article. This new process lets you put them where ever you click your mouse in the article body. Plus, you can…

    Suite 101 Back in Action?

Way back in early 2010, Suite 101 was hit with the Google Panda smack down. Many writers lost vast amounts of income through the site. Since then, the site has been revamped and many writers are wondering if they should give it a try. During my six years with Suite, I amassed 314 articles, mostly about fine art, and thousands of dollars worth of income. The last time I checked, my income from the residual income site was around $10,000. That means that I’ve earned around $31 for each article on the site. A New Residual Income Site: Wizzley

I’ve been hearing a lot about a new residual income site named Wizzley. This new site looks really nice, so I gathered some information to share with you. To make money with Wizzley you create content and add your Google AsSense code or Chitika code to your account so that you can get paid. You can also use their ad modules to add affiliate links, but they only accept Amazon, Zazzle and AllPosters. According to the site, “After you have created 50 quality articles, your ad share will increase to 55%. After 100 articles we’ll give you the maximum share of 60%.” You can also make money by recruiting. If you…

    List My 5 Update

A while back I wrote a post on the relatively new revenue share site List My 5. At first I was doing really well. I was doing so well with earnings, in fact, that I decided to make it one of my New Year’s resolutions to put a lot of effort into this site so that I can see maximum earnings. Well, that all changed when Google’s Panda update crashed most residual earning site’s mojo. Yep, List My 5 was definitely hit hard, at least, my lists were. Others are reporting a severe drop in earnings at the site, too. I guess that site gets crossed off my list of…

Article Earnings at Suite 101: What I’ve Learned

Suite 101 has started sending out reports every month on how much your articles earn. From these reports I’ve learned: One article can earn you over 19% of your overall earnings Sometimes your best earning articles are ones with a long tail keywords Older articles (I mean years old) tend to earn me the most money An article doesn’t have to get a lot of page views to make a lot of money A large amount of articles may not earn you anything one month, but that can change in a few weeks Seasonal articles can make you a lot of fast cash, even if they’re brand new Share this...FacebookGoogle+TwitterLinkedin
