Every now and then I will get a Family Dollar sales paper in my mail box. Usually, I throw it away without a glance. Family Dollar just has cheap junk, right? Well, that’s what I thought at least.
My daughter’s karate class is next door to a Family Dollar, so one day I decided to check it out when I was in desperate need of a way to tame my daughter’s crazy mane before class.
Boy, was I surprised! I got a hair brush and hair goodies for my daughter, plus a bunch of other stuff.

From then on I paid attention to those sales papers and you should, too. Once a month or so you will find a save $5 on a purchase of $25 or more coupon. The other day my shopper also came with a Buy One, Save 50% coupon for children’s clothing sets. I got one of my girls a cute capri and tunic set for $12.50 and a shorts and top outfit for my other daughter for $5 thanks to the coupon. Overall, I saved $10.50. Both outfits are super cute and are very well-made. Score!
